Amisia is the newest type of high-quality multi-purpose cargo vessels built by SLKB Shipyard.
With its deadweight at design draught of 3,800 TDW it was designed for the shipping of different cargo types, and that in accordance with the needs of shipping companies, which need ships that can carry different types of commodities on rivers and seas. Amisia fully meets the above needs. It is constructed in compliance with the standards and under the constant control of the prestigious international classification society Germanischer Lloyd. Since it is built at a European Shipyard, its construction also corresponds with all relevant DIN, STN and EN norms as well as with all internal norms and construction guidelines of SLKB Shipyard.

Amisia is designed for unrestricted international service, for sailing on inland waterways and equally for sea navigation. It is suitable for the carriage of the following loads: bulk cargoes, timber, paper, cellulose, coils, fertilizers, containers, coal, cotton etc. It is also designed for the carriage of dangerous goods and containers, which is a standard requirement for European shipyards. Amisia has an additional hatch-cover-tightening system.
Amisia is the Latin name of the river Ems or Eems, which is one of the most important inland waterways in Europe, in north-western Germany and in the north-eastern Netherlands. We believe that our quality cargo vessel Amisia will raise the reputation of SLKB Shipyard in the whole world.
